Years ago I saw Jon Lovitz on a late night talk show. He was giving a stand-up routine, and he had a live goat along-side him. Jon has a Jewish heritage, and so he said to the audience, "You may be wondering why I am using a goat for a prop, because of my family. Let's say I'm Jew-ish." And he tilted his hand side to side, indicating "I'm kind of Jewish but not 100% Jewish." That joke has stuck with me for years.
That is the best way I can describe my first GFCF trip to Ozark Natural Foods yesterday.
Charity was with me, which was such a blessing because I would have been so overwhelmed without her. She was so excited, showing me all of the things that were GFCF. We found some almond cheese, and after examining it, Charity asked me "is that cheese". My only response that I could think of "It's cheese-ish."
But, as you can plainly see, it melts and stretches. It says so on the bag!
